Lower lip up, eyebrows raised

By May 21, 2012KaleidoCycle

This fantastic mask was made by Chrystene Ells, Co-Producer and Designer of KaleidoCycle. I tried it on today and did some mask character developing with the direction of Chrystene. What an intriguing discipline!
I am really honoured to be presented with a personalized mask and I’m stoked to try it out more. I’ll soon get the chance. We open in less than two weeks!

Here’s a shot of Chrystene in the workshop preparing the masks.

Later in the day I checked out some Super 8mm film I hand processed yesterday. It dried overnight, hanging off the shower curtain and bathroom door. This will be used to help tell the story of KaleidoCycle, with live projection performance using celluloid and warping the image with glass and prisms.

Oh man I can’t wait to see the production. Your mask looks awesome and the picture of Chrystene in the workshop is wonderful. Cool film strip…looks like a printed circuit board!

You know, if a brisk wind comes along, your face’ll be stuck like that …
